Regus Express workplace to open at Sandbach South services

The workplace will feature a drop-in business lounge, plus high-specification meeting rooms available by the hour. Regus added that it is likely to attract those wanting to hold out-of-town meetings and self-employed people seeking an occasional alternative to the home office, as well as motorists passing through.

Drivers can use the workplace through pay-as-you-go access priced at £5 per hour or £10 per day or through Regus Businessworld membership at £35 per month, which provides drop-in access to the business lounges at each of Regus’ 300 UK locations including Regus Express.

The global workspace provider said the announcement of the opening date coincides with this week’s Road Safety Week, organised by the charity Brake. Regus also highlighted that its previous research has revealed that two-fifths of mobile workers had dialled into conference calls whilst driving.

Phil Kemp, global managing director of Regus Third Place said: “We are excited to open our first workplace on the M6, which will shortly be followed by several other locations across Roadchef’s network.

‘One of the primary ways that they are used is by motorists dropping in to check their emails and make urgent phone calls, rather than doing this at the wheel. Regus Express offers them a safe, quiet and productive business environment. They also serve as convenient meeting points, and occasional workspace for remote workers.’
