Prices revealed for Hyundai’s Juke-rivalling Kona crossover
Hyundai’s forthcoming Kona crossover will be priced from £16,195 when it launches in the UK – undercutting sibling model the Kia Stonic by £100 but coming in above the £14,880 Nissan Juke that it will rival.
On sale from 2 November, the Kona will be offered in five trim levels – S, SE, Premium, Premium SE and Premium GT. Just two engines will be on offer, covering a 118bhp 1.0-litre petrol with six-speed manual and a 175bhp 1.6-litre diesel with seven-speed DCT transmission and four-wheel drive, only offered in the Premium GT trim.
Equipment on the entry-level S brings 16-inch alloys, air con, standard cruise control with speed limiter, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors and electric front and rear windows.
DAB and Bluetooth connectivity features as standard throughout the range along with safety equipment including Driver Attention Alert, Lane Keeping Assist, Hill Start Assist Control and Downhill Brake Control.
