The funds were raised by Pendragon at its annual Charity Challenge fundraising day, which saw the team at Pendragon Vehicle Management hold a dress down day, cake sale and quizzes.

The Hayward House Appeal was voted for by team members as the charity of choice for the day, as a cause close to many people’s hearts for providing high quality, specialist care centred on the needs of patients and their families from diagnosis to end of life care.

Neal Francis, divisional managing director of Pendragon Vehicle Management, said: “Hayward House is a very worthy cause and it has been great to see the business pull together to raise such a huge amount. Fundraising is a big part of our values here at Pendragon and we’re proud to have contributed to the incredible grand total of £18,000, and there’s still more to collect!”
