Launched by Solon Security, which supplies a number of crime prevention and safety products, the Defender Signal Blocker comprises a storage pouch lined with a special RPF material that stops mobile phones receiving calls or any alerts, blocking the temptation to use the phone and helping eliminate distraction.

The same capabilities also mean that it can help stop ‘relay’ car theft – a growing trend whereby criminals use radio transmitters to intercept signals from key fobs and steal cars without actual physical access to the keys – and also protect all contactless cards and modern passports.
