The new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross will be available to UK customers from £21,275 OTR when it goes on sale in January 2018.
Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross
For the UK market, Mitsubishi’s new mid-sized SUV will be equipped with a new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine developing 163hp and 250Nm of torque, which can be specified with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
The transmission, Mitsubishi says, offers the best parts of a CVT with the responsiveness of a traditional automatic by using step-logic technology.
The Eclipse Cross will be available in either 4×2 or 4×4 configurations.
The Mitsubishi will be made available in three trim levels – Eclipse Cross 2, Eclipse Cross 3 and Eclipse Cross 4. The entry level 2 trim comes with a touch-pad controller, Smartphone Display Audio compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto + Bluetooth, rear view camera, DAB radio with six speakers, cruise control, climate control air conditioning, LED Daytime Running Lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass and heated door mirrors – all as standard.
In addition, as standard every Eclipse Cross will have Lane Departure Warning and radar-controlled Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM).
Eclipse Cross 2 prices start from £21,275, while Eclipse Cross 3 prices start from £22,575, with a 4WD version available from £25,350. The Eclipse Cross 4 prices start from £24,975.
