Martin Forbes & Tim Hudson appointed to senior appointments at Manheim

Forbes, who joins Manheim Retail Services early in the New Year, brings a wealth of specialist digital marketing expertise to the business, having spent the past eight years at the helm of two leading global media companies. Most recently he was group chief executive officer of international production and digital agency group Stink, prior to which he was SVP and managing director of Vibrant Media Inc, within the Ad-Tech landscape.

Hudson returns to the UK after a two-year spell as chief executive of Manheim’s Asia Pacific operations. Prior to Manheim, he was managing director of Aston Barclay and also spent eight years with LeasePlan, where he held a number of senior positions, latterly that of managing director.

Manheim, part of the global Cox Automotive group, said that the two new roles come as part of a broader strategic drive to lead the sector globally

Michael Buxton, the recently appointed CEO of Manheim UK, said: ‘These two appointments will be key to our continuing success and demonstrate the commitment we have to bringing about exciting change in the global and dynamic automotive market place. Our joined-up approach to meeting the needs of manufacturers, motor retailers and fleet companies will be hugely enhanced with these recruits to our business.’

Martin Forbes and Tim Hudson will report directly to Michael Buxton and will take up their positions within Manheim during the first quarter of 2015.
