JLR Pivotal subscription service adopts Allstar’s ServicePoint for SMR

Jaguar Land Rover-owned car subscription service Pivotal has deployed Allstar’s ServicePoint service, maintenance and repair (SMR) platform to enhance its customer experience.

The ServicePoint portal enables Pivotal to manage key aspects of its SMR needs, gaining access to a nationwide network of garages, booking, authorisation, payment and invoicing, service reminders, and vehicle SMR histories.

John Murphy, managing director at Pivotal, said: “When it comes to the service and maintenance of our vehicles, our aim is to provide a seamless experience for our members while working with the best suppliers to ensure our fleet of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles are kept in optimal condition. Our move to ServicePoint has very much been made with that objective in mind.”

The portal means customers can make a booking at a time and place convenient to the. Pivotal is also able to specify the suppliers it works with to manage both quality and costs e more effectively.

“It’s much more efficient than our previous largely manual process while allowing us to provide a much higher degree of customer experience,” Murphy added.

Pivotal offers members a choice from four membership tiers which provides a selection of the latest Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, available from three months upwards and providing the option to change vehicles or stop the subscription when convenient.

ServicePoint is part of the Allstar Business Solutions portfolio and is based on technology from Epyx; both firms are owned by Fleetcor.
