Jaguar expands I-Pace electric SUV line-up with special editions

New Black special editions of the Jaguar I-Pace electric SUV are now available, featuring enhanced design and extra equipment.

Based respectively on the SE and HSE models, the Black and HSE Black special editions include the Black Pack, which sees a gloss black finish applied to the door mirror caps as well as the grille, grille surround, side window surrounds and rear badges.

The new models also get a full panoramic roof, privacy glass and 20-inch wheels with gloss black finish to bring increased visual impact. On the inside, updates include ebony leather sports seats and gloss black trim finishers, complemented by an ebony headliner.

As with the other models in the range, the I-Pace Black models feature the Pivi Pro infotainment system with an embedded SIM and a 4G data plan for unlimited music streaming, while the smartphone pack with Apple CarPlay is standard, as is Android Auto. Wireless versions of both will soon become available to customers in a software-over-the-air update. The I-PACE can also connect two phones simultaneously, and there’s an optional wireless device charging pad beneath the centre console with a signal booster.

Driver assistance features include Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assist.

All I-Pace models feature the 400hp all-wheel drive powertrain, with two electric motors at each axle, giving 696Nm and a 0-62mph (0-100km/h) time of 4.8 seconds.

The 90kWh battery delivers up to 292 miles of range (WLTP) and can be charged using a 100kW DC charger, adding up to 78 miles of range in 15 minutes. For customers using an 11kW (AC) wallbox and three-phase supply, a full charge takes 8.6 hours or 12.75 hours for customers using single-phase 7kW wallboxes.

The new special-edition I-Pace models are available to order now.
