Activate Group Limited (AGL) is further expanding its work in the insurance claims, fleet management and vehicle repair sector with the purchase of a shareholding in Sopp Parts.

Recent months have seen the business acquire a number of firms including Car Repair Network, Sopp+Sopp and Vigilance in early September, and an investment in RVM Assist during October.

AGL also announced the appointment of ex-Tesco.com head of fleet Cleo Darler as Sopp Parts MD, with Mark Woods, AGL executive chairman, commenting: “Her in-depth knowledge of the fleet management sector and the challenges presented by operating a large fleet across multiple sites means she is extremely well placed to understand the current and future needs of the Sopp Parts customer base.”
