Activate Group Ltd (AGL) is gearing up for growth in the vehicle fleet accident repair and insurance sector following the acquisition of three industry brands.

Fleet accident repair and insurance claims business expands

Founded in 2015, the business has acquired commercial and fleet repair specialist Sopp + Sopp, personal lines repair and engineering management provider Car Repair Network (CRN) and specialist claims technology company Vigilance this year.

The announcement comes as the group reveals its strategic plan for growth over the next 12 months, targeting 40% on existing revenues, and said it also expects to announce further acquisitions and partnerships in the near future.

AGL has also made a number of appointments to support its growth plans, including the recruitment of former WNS Assistance vice president David Butler as strategic head of repair network and Shaun Slack, a former underwriter at Lloyd’s of London and latterly a director at Hill Dickinson, who becomes commercial director.
