EV specialists team up to help fleets with large-scale electric vehicle uptake

Dubbed EV Works, the partnership aims to support organisations and businesses to roll out large-scale electric vehicle uptake and charging networks across multiple sites.

Measures will include a bespoke package of support, covering policy, vehicles and charging, as well as aspects such as project management, funding applications, marketing and annual maintenance packages.

Elm EV’s commercial director, Dan Martin said: “At Elm EV, we strive to promote the benefits of using electric vehicles within large fleets, helping to create a more sustainable environment to live in. We also endorse the financial benefits of using EVs.

“We are an independent company, specialising in supplying, installing and maintaining electric vehicle charging infrastructures. Partnering with Zero Carbon Futures enables us to provide organisations with a ‘full package’ of support on electric vehicles.”

Both businesses are based at the Future Technology Centre in Sunderland and have partnered with some of the leading names in the EV industry.

Colin Herron, managing director, Zero Carbon Futures, added: “There are so many natural synergies between our two companies: we both have vast knowledge and connections in the industry as well as practical experience of project managing and delivering electric vehicle projects. We are also completely independent so we can offer impartial advice and recommendations to organisations and companies at the beginning of their EV journey.”
