Entries to RoSPA health and safety awards now open

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has opened entries to its flagship Health and Safety Awards, including its Fleet Safety Award.

Entries to this year’s awards are now open

The awards, which get almost 2,000 entries every year across nearly 50 countries, recognise organisations, teams and projects across all sectors for their commitment to protecting lives.

Ceremonies will take place in 2024 at JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane London and The Address, Dubai Mall Hotel.

Award categories include: Industry Sector Award, Achievement Award, Fleet Safety Award and Leisure Safety Award.

The Specialist awards are RoSPA’s free-to-enter awards, though entrants must have registered for one of the above. These include the Fleet Safety, Leisure Safety, Dilmun Environmental and Health at Work accolade.

The programme also includes awards made to individuals, teams and initiatives, spanning the Distinguished Service Award, Team of the Year Award, Initiative of the Year Award, Influencer of the Year Award, Pride Award and Inspiring Women in Safety Award.

Excellence trophies include the Sir George Earle Trophy, Workforce Involvement in Safety & Health, International Sector, RoSPA Scotland Trophy, Best New Entry, Fleet Safety Technology Trophy, Fall Prevention Trophy and Health and Safety Beyond the Workplace Trophy.

Julia Small, RoSPA’s achievement director, said: “Every year I’m blown away by the calibre of entries received from organisations of all sizes – from independent operators and SMEs to big, global organisations. Seeing the outstanding work entrants are doing in the UK and internationally is truly fantastic, and I cannot wait to see what the 2024 awards bring.”
