The agreement, which covers 70 vehicles, has been developed using a whole-life cost approach as the basis for the vehicle choice list and includes comprehensive range of fleet services including driver contact, accident management, driver licence checking, daily rental and fuel cards.

Phil Yates, operations director at Personal Group, said: ‘We went through a comprehensive review programme with both GE Capital and an independent fleet consultant to look at the optimum direction for our fleet to take in the future and we believe that we have arrived at the best result’.

‘The new outsourced arrangement is designed to meet all our employee transport and benefit needs while ensuring that we satisfy and exceed all legal responsibilities and minimise costs. It was a challenging brief but one that we are confident GE Capital met and exceeded.’
