Electric vehicle advances to come under spotlight at 2018 Fleet World Honours
Next year’s Fleet World Honours will debut a new ‘Innovation in Electric Mobility’ category.
The advanced work by the fleet management and leasing industry to help companies shift to ultra-low emission vehicles is to come under focus in next year’s Fleet World Honours, which are open for entries.
The awards – the most prestigious event on the fleet calendar – will once again shine a light on those companies developing the latest products and solutions for the fleet sector.
This includes ultra-low emissions vehicles – in the spotlight again following yesterday’s Budget – with a brand-new Fleet World Honours ‘Innovation in Electric Mobility’ category.
This is joined by categories for innovation in contract hire and leasing, customer service, SMR, remarketing, risk management, driver management, rental, fuel saving/management, cost reduction, mobile comms, telematics and accident management.
The latest developments by carmakers will also come under focus at the 2018 Fleet World Honours, including Fleet Manufacturer of the Year, Most Improved Fleet Manufacturer and Best Ultra Low Emission Vehicle, while also awarding the leaders within each car category.
The 2018 Van Fleet World Honours will be presented at a separate event, taking place at Twickenham Stadium on 22 March 2018. Entry forms for the Innovation categories will be available shortly.
The deadline for entries is Monday 15 January 2018.
