Fleet management company CBVC and ElectriX are expanding their partnership to include business contract hire for electric vehicles.

CBVC and ElectriX are now offering business contract hire to help SMEs switch to electric vehicles

The move comes a year after CBVC teamed up with LV= General Insurance to launch the ElectriX one-stop shop, offering private drivers everything they need to get on the road with an electric car.

The co-branded offering has now been extended to help businesses switch to electric vehicles, enabling fleets and drivers to capitalise on low Benefit-in-Kind taxation while also assisting companies with their ESG agendas.

Aimed at SMEs, the new business contract hire solution includes a wide range of electric cars on the ElectriX website. These are offered through vehicle leasing expert CBVC and able to meet a range of business budgets, with a variety of cars available in under 12 weeks and some deliverable in 30 days.

The ElectriX package also gives drivers access to a home charging solution via leading provider Indra, and bespoke insurance from LV= as well as useful guidance and advice to give drivers confidence in making the electric switch.

Mike Manners, managing director of CBVC, said: “We are really pleased to add business contract hire to the ElectriX offering. Our 20 years of fleet management experience means that we’re perfectly positioned to support ElectriX business customers.

“The environmental, social and governance agenda (ESG) is so important for businesses right now and the transition to electric vehicles is a core part of that. We’ve already helped many customers to decarbonise their fleets and we’re looking forward to supporting more businesses to make the switch.”
