Brake and Axa UK partner to promote greener and safer driving

Road safety charity Brake and insurance giant Axa UK are teaming up to raise awareness of  safe and sustainably driving practices.

The work will establish drivers’ opinions and behaviour on safe and sustainable practices

The two businesses will carry out research on areas including the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on road safety, driver opinions on new technology and the importance of driver education.

The aim is to publish a series of reports on driver behaviour and opinions on topics related to driving safely and sustainability.

Brake and Axa said they were united in their commitments to keep road users and communities safer and greener.

Lucy Straker, campaigns manager at Brake, said: “We are grateful for Axa UK’s support and are excited about working with them on establishing drivers’ opinions and behaviours.”

Dougie Barnett, director of customer risk management, at Axa UK, added: “At Axa UK, we are committed to improving road safety, lowering emissions and supporting the development of mobility so it is accessible and affordable for all. As research partner, we hope our insight encourages safe driving practices and raises awareness of more sustainable transport options.”
