Priced at £8.99 per day and available to book in 47 stations across 11 countries including the UK, Travel Partner aims to provide assistance throughout the trip in a choice of English, French, German and Italian.

The service is available to book online or via the Avis app, the call centre, or in person at the rental station when customers collect their reservation.

Travel Partner offers assistance with the reporting and investigation of lost luggage, and can help to trace items, including liaising with the airline and providing twice daily updates. The service can also help to report all lost or stolen credit, debit and charge cards and advise on the best procedure to follow and assist with Passport or Visa issues by providing details of the nearest embassy or consulate.

Real-time flight status information helps users to keep track of their travel arrangements and telephone access to translations services can provide verbal translations from a range of national languages.

“With Travel Partner, we’re offering more than just car hire. We want to give our customers the premium service that they have come to expect from us, and continue our legacy of making sure we put our customers at the heart of everything we do,” commented Nina Bell, managing director – Northern Europe. “We’re going the extra mile to ensure that when people hire their car with us, they know that it comes with added peace of mind.”
