Auto Windscreens becomes member of Association of Fleet Professionals
Auto Windscreens has become the latest member of the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP), further cementing its support of the industry.
Auto Windscreens said becoming an AFP member highlighted its support for a unified voice across the sector
Launched in March as the result of a merger between the Association of Fleet Operators (ACFO) and Institute of Fleet Management (ICFM), the AFP has been created to give “increased voice through combined strength” and has quickly gathered pace since, launching a number of specialist committees and providing a raft of advice on areas from coronavirus, to the need for fleets to underline the contribution they make to their business.
It’s also signed up significant numbers of fleets and fleet industry organisations, including Auto Windscreens.
Dave Bingham, fleet sales and business development manager, said: “By being a member of the association, we’re supporting a unified voice across the sector which is paramount to tackling the issues that we face not only currently, but in the future as well.”
The automotive glazing specialist works with a number of fleet operators as well as managing its own 358-strong fleet and Bingham said it prides itself on keeping its finger on the pulse “when it comes to new developments within the industry”.
He added: “Our group fleet manager, Shaun Atton, is focused on a safe, connected and engaged fleet, which includes a commitment to technology.”
