Alstom signs up to FMG for incident mangement & legal services

The contract, which covers Alstom’s UK fleet of 600 vehicles, will include a bespoke 24/7/365 first notification of loss solution along with UK-wide repair management and an uninsured loss recovery service. A bespoke online dashboard will provide Alstom with real-time transparent progress updates and intelligent aggregation of fleet data.

Janice Lomax, country commodity leader at Alstom, said: ‘Downtime management and cost reduction are high on our fleet agenda so we were looking for the right solution for our needs and believe that FMG has the right experience and flexibility to achieve that.’

Harvey Stead, commercial director at FMG, added: ‘No two businesses have the same fleet incident requirements and as an outsourcing specialist, we have the ability to truly tailor our solutions to meet our customers’ individual requirements. Whilst many providers appear to offer similar services and solutions, this contract is testament to the knowledge of our people, our intelligent use of cutting edge technology and the strength of our repair partnerships.’
