ALD Automotive augments Minilease Premium leasing solution

Forming part of ALD’s 2,000-strong PoolFleet division, the programme offers high specification premium models including VW, Mercedes and Maserati to meet the short-term needs of corporate drivers, such as new, probationary or temporary staff.

Under the latest update to the programme, all cars are now guaranteed to be supplied with Sat Nav as standard at no extra cost. This is in addition to Bluetooth connectivity already provided as standard in all of ALD’s Minilease vehicles.

In addition, VW’s latest Transporter Highlines have now been added to the line-up, in both long and short wheelbase formats, along with a Kombi option. The premium Highline trim brings features such as Climatic air conditioning, heated windscreen, leather multi-function steering wheel, automatic dimming rear-view mirror with rain sensor, Bluetooth and more. In addition, the majority of the Transporter Highlines are supplied with metallic paint and come without sign writing to offer a truly premium LCV rental offering.

With recent improvements in petrol technology, PoolFleet has also added the VW Golf 1.4 TSI ACT 150PS DSG in the GT Edition to their fleet, with added 18” Durban alloys and a panoramic sunroof over the standard GT model as well as CO2 emissions of 113g/km.

As with all models available through ALD’s Minilease Premium solution, customers benefit from no capital outlay, flexible contract terms and the option to migrate the agreement into a longer-term contract hire (CH) or personal contract purchase (PCP) agreement.

Adrian Temple, head of rental services at ALD Automotive , commented: “These latest additions help ensure that our Minilease Premium solution stands out in the marketplace by offering true driver appeal as well as a cost-effective and flexible solution to ad hoc staffing needs. “Equipping all cars with Sat Nav as standard provides a key benefit for business drivers, while the addition of the first petrol-powered cars will aid both employees and companies alike through reduced taxation costs. The new premium vans – another first for Minilease Premium – also enhance the offering to ensure we can offer a market-leading vehicle line-up that ticks all the right boxes for everyone.”
