The £3.2m investment follows a 15% jump in executive car bookings over the last year and, according to the company, will create the UK’s largest fleet of executive cars.

Andy Boland, chief executive officer at Addison Lee, said: “We are excited to put the new range of Mercedes E-Class cars on London’s roads as Addison Lee increases its offering to meet the demands of some of London’s leading corporate executives.”

Commenting on the reasons for choosing the E-Class, the firm cited its fuel efficiency and refinement for passengers and drivers.

Boland added: “We have made major investments to expand our executive fleet, this has ensured we have the best drivers and the best vehicles in the UK. By increasing our range of executive cars, more customers will be able to enjoy a superior experience that delivers on quality and service.”
