The 35-year-old, Devon-based company had previously sourced its domestic tyre requirements from Mid-Devon tyres for 20 years, but switched to ATS Euromaster after experiencing the Euromaster network in mainland Europe.

Managing director George Rose said: 'We've always been very impressed with Euromaster's service standards abroad, and ATS Euromaster seemed better placed to offer consistently high standards to our fleet in the UK thanks to its nationwide network. Its tyre management expertise and commitment to professional tyre husbandry is also top of the league.'

Rose Removals carries out domestic and commercial removals, both locally, across the UK and overseas. Its commercial services include office relocations and removals for university campuses, councils, museums, charities and court rooms. It is a member of the British Association of Removers.

The customer's fleet of 12 vans and 12 trucks is comprised primarily of Volkswagen LT, Volkswagen Transporter and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, with a mixture of trucks from 7.5 to 44 tonnes.

The fleet will be fitted with a mixture of Avon and Michelin tyres respectively. The vehicles will receive fortnightly tyre safety inspections by experienced ATS Euromaster technicians, with written reports detailing overall tyre condition and remaining tread depth provided to the transport team.

Also included in the contract is access to ATS Euromaster's extensive mobile service fleet, totalling nearly 1,000 tyre-fitting vehicles.

'We're delighted with the service so far,' said Mr Rose. 'Consistency of service across the fleet has improved, as our UK tyre policy now matches what we expect from Euromaster abroad. ATS Euromaster's tyre purchasing strength is also reflected in the prices we are paying for our preferred tyre brands.'
