CAP Black Book goes pink for charity

By / 14 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The move to turn Black Book pink was inspired by the CAP team's determination to support colleague Amanda Morgan who is recovering from treatment for cancer.

It is the latest in a string of money-raising initiatives at CAP this year in support of Cancer Research UK's "Join The Fight For Women's Survival" campaign.

So far £3,500 has been raised by CAP staff, with support from the business itself as well as customers and suppliers.

Rebecca Worthy, who has coordinated fundraising activities, said: ‘We were determined to show our support when Amanda was diagnosed. Then, when we began discussing what we might do it became clear that the lives of many people at CAP have been, or are currently, touched by cancer.

‘This historic "Pink Book" edition of Black Book is a great way to highlight our commitment to the fight against women's cancer.’
