Based in Offenbach, Germany, Mark Hall assumes responsibility for all elements of the marketing mix at Hyundai, including product marketing, advertising, brand development and PR.

Mr Hall brings to Hyundai 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. He most recently served as the head of product planning and marketing for Lexus Europe, having previously held various positions in sales and marketing with Toyota at a European level and in the UK.

Mr Hall and his team will be implementing an intensive product launch programme. This begins with the introduction of four new models for Europe at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, including the new B-segment MPV challenger, ix20. A further eight new models and derivatives will follow from 2011 onwards, with several taking Hyundai into new market segments for the first time.

'We are thrilled to have Mark on board, as we begin what promises to be another exciting period for the Hyundai brand,' said Allan Rushforth, vice president of Hyundai Motor Europe. 'Mark’s extensive experience in the European auto industry will be a valuable asset as we look to increase our presence across the Continent.'
