Wakefield car leasing company scoops business award

Cars on Demand, based at Trinity Business Park in Wakefield, scooped the Transformation category of the 2015 BiYInspired awards, run by Business in Yorkshire.

Now in their second year, the awards were created in 2014 by Business in Yorkshire and Leeds-based award writing company Awards Writers to recognise SMEs across the region.

The awards win recognises how the company – which coordinates a fleet of over 600 vehicles across the UK – has successfully established a national presence following the decision to franchise its operation in 2011 to capitalise on the growing demand for short-term vehicle leasing across the UK.

Cars on Demand – which launched in 2003 and specialises in short-term car leasing starting from 28 days – now has eight depots across the UK including Horsham, Silverstone, Exeter, London, Aberdeen and Belfast. The company also privately leases a fleet of five supercars worth in excess of £1.2m.

Cars on Demand owner director Paul Brown commented: “We are thrilled to have picked up this award as it recognises the hard work and dedication that the team have put in to transforming our service offering and evolving the Cars on Demand brand into a nationally recognised company.”
