VW adds R-Line trim to CC line-up
The R-Line is based on the GT trim and, for an extra £650, adds an aR-Line front grille with round fog lights, R-Line front bumper, R-Line logo in the radiator grille, sill extensions, LED daytime running lights and 18-inch “Mallory” alloy wheels. Inside, there’s an R-Line multi-function steering wheel.
Two engines will be available with R-Line trim – a 2.0-litre 207bhp TSI petrol with an official combined figure of 38.7mpg and a 2.0-litre 175bhp TDI with BlueMotion Technology, which includes battery regeneration and Stop/Start systems and delivers up to 58.9mpg combined. Both engines come with a choice of either a six-speed manual or DSG gearbox.
The CC R-Line is available to order from 9th November, with first customer deliveries due in late January. Prices start at £29,505.
