It replaces the previous 130hp six-speed manual, cutting CO2 emissions from 141g/km to 125g/km (on the WLTP Combined High scale) and delivering up to 51.4mpg along with the same performance figures as before.

The new arrival sits alongside the existing 130hp EAT8 automatic powertrain, plus the 100hp 1.2 turbo six-speed manual variants, and is available across the entire range.

Navigation with traffic alerts also arrives as standard, plus the ‘Park & Go’ pack which includes Advanced Park Assist with 180-degree panoramic camera, blind spot alert and flank guard technology that uses ultrasonic side sensors to help manoeuvring into tight spaces.

Mokka Black variants are available with the new engine and the existing 130hp EAT8 automatic and start first deliveries this summer.

Design for the existing Mokka variants has also been revamped, including replacing the former chrome exterior with black trim, which includes a black painted rear spoiler and roof.

Mokka Ultimate also gets more equipment, including driver’s side power lumbar support and front massage seats as standard equipment. All Mokka versions now also come with High Beam Assist with Tunnel Detection, delivering improved lighting.
