Tusker simplifies charging for EV drivers under Zap-Map tie-up

Tusker has partnered with charging app Zap-Map to help simplify charging for its salary sacrifice drivers.

Tusker is making the Zap-Map EV charging point locator app available to its 20,000 drivers via its new website.

The Zap-Map functionality allows users to locate their nearest charging points, filter these chargers by type, power and availability, as well as plan journeys for maximum ease. It joins a host of new tools and resources for drivers on the Tusker site.

Users of Tusker’s website and app will also be able to take advantage of the Zap-Map handy fuel versus electricity cost calculator. This allows drivers to input vehicle types and mileages to discover the savings available to EVs when compared to petrol or diesel engine cars.

The partnership also sees Zap-Map add a dedicated salary sacrifice page to its website and app in recognition of the part employee benefits are having on fast tracking the uptake of electric cars.

“With the addition of the salary sacrifice page to the Zap-Map website, those who may be new to EVs or considering their first electric car can learn about the enormous cost benefits of taking one through their employer,” added Gilshan.
