Trakm8’s RH800 four-channel 4G mobile digital video recorder has full telematics capabilities

Its new RH800 solution comes with a range of features that Trakm8 says will redefine the world of vehicle surveillance and monitoring.

Telematics capabilities include live streaming, GPS vehicle tracking, driver behaviour monitoring and scoring, vehicle health insights and battery alerts, tacho downloads, and more.

The RH800 provides full HD 1080p resolution at 20FPS/25FPS, while built-in 4G connectivity provides live video streaming and remote downloads of both video and photos, providing real-time insights and instant access to critical information.

It also comes with an internal solid-state drive (SSD), available in 1TB and 2TB options and guaranteeing secure and tamper-proof data storage.

The RH800 offers both internal and external options, ensuring a 360-degree view of vehicle exterior or an in-cab view, helping operators comply with the new Direct Vision Standard Progressive Safe System coming into force from October 2024 and Silver FORS standard.

It’s also seamlessly integrated with Trakm8’s Insight platform, ensuring the RH800 delivers server updates every 15 seconds.

Optional telematics accessories include in-cab driver feedback, driver id options and tacho download capabilities, enabling tailored setup.

The RH800 also features a compact and lightweight design, measuring 190mm x 122mm x 33mm and weighing 480g, making it one of the most compact and lightweight MDVR units available.

Trakm8 has also unveiled the RoadHawk DC-4 dashcam, an SD card-based forward-facing device with WiFi connectivity, a detachable rear-view camera, and 1440p Quad HD (2K) resolution at 30FPS.
