Supplier of the Week: TMC

TMC has been named as Fleet World’s Supplier of the Week for its comprehensive and competitively priced licence checking service.

TMC’s DVLA licence checks are offered as a standalone solution, priced from £2.50 per check with no added fees

Offered as a standalone solution, the firm’s DVLA licence checks are priced from £2.50 per check, with no added fees, and help to ensure fleet compliance.

TMC handles the entire end-to-end process of checking driving licences and reports the results back to fleets via an online dashboard – cutting time and hassle compared to paper-based administration.

Checks can be carried out for business employees as well as additional drivers, such as spouses. International licence checks are also available.

The whole process is managed end-to-end. Drivers are asked to supply their licence details – either by scanning their licence via TMC’s app, or by inputting the details online, and confirm their consent to the check.

The results are returned in seconds. Any drivers who fail to provide their details are chased by TMC until compliance is achieved.

The result of each check is reported to the business via the online dashboard, which provides a summary of the status of all drivers at any time and the ability to drill down to view each individual.

Employees can also add nominated drivers, who will then be sent an email to complete their details and e-consent online.

Once the first round of checks has been completed, the frequency of future checks can be managed by TMC, based on the number of endorsements each driver has, or company policy.

TMC’s licence check service is run as part of its Compliance+ data-led operational road risk management programme, which is designed as a modular service to enable fleets to select the services needed.
