Spaces still left for ICFM ‘big data’ Masterclass
Fleet decision-makers are being urged to book places for next month’s ICFM Masterclass, which will look at how ‘big data’ is transforming the long-established fleet management model.
The Masterclass will focus on how ‘big data’ is changing the face of fleet.
Taking place on Tuesday 3 October from 10am till noon at the NEC, Birmingham, the event – the third in the Masterclass line-up – will look at how the arrival of the ‘connected car’, the Internet of Things and the concept of Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) will reinvent the way both fleets and the whole arena of corporate travel is being strategically managed.
Speakers include ICFM chairman Paul Hollick, managing director of TMC (The Miles Consultancy), who will highlight the in-depth information provided by ‘big data’ and the insight it provides, including on fuel/mileage management, optimised vehicle selection and service, maintenance and repair.
Meanwhile Justin Whitston, chief executive of Fleetondemand, will speak on the firm’s smart mobility solution while ICFM director Martin Evans, managing director of Jaama, will look at the importance of feeding ‘big data’ into software management systems enabling detailed analysis of cost areas and the more effective and efficient management of assets, drivers and journeys.
