Skoda boosts Karoq specifications with new Edition trims
Škoda has revamped the line-up for its Karoq family SUV with the arrival of new bumper specification Edition grades.
Already featured in the Fabia, Scala and Kamiq ranges, the new trims replace the previous specifications and boost equipment with new features as standard for just a £200 uplift.
The line-up, already given an engine and equipment makeover in April, now starts with the SE Edition as the replacement to the previous SE Drive model. It’s priced from £29,975 for the 1.0 TSI 116hp petrol, compared to £29,775 for the old SE Drive version, but now also adds in front parking sensors, a rear-view camera and keyless entry as standard, along with a two-spoke heated steering wheel and heated front seats.
The SE Edition is also available with a 1.5 TSI 150hp petrol with active cylinder management for £31,150, while the same engine with a seven-speed DSG gearbox is priced at £32,600.
The mid-spec SE L Edition replaces the previous SE L model with a value-packed list. Priced from £32,150 – again for the 1.0 TSI 116hp petrol – it builds on the old model with an electrically operated boot with virtual pedal, adaptive cruise control and 9.2-inch infotainment system with navigation. The SE L Edition is also available with the 1.5 TSI 150hp petrol with active cylinder management for £33,325 in manual guise and £34,775 with the DSG. The SE L Edition line-up is topped off by a 2.0 TDI diesel 150hp with DSG and all-wheel drive as standard, priced at £39,760.
The top-tier SportLine Edition is positioned as the sporting flagship of the revised Karoq range. It’s priced from £36,390 for the 1.5 TSI 150hp petrol with active cylinder management as a manual and £37,840 with DSG, and now comes with dynamic chassis control, progressive steering and adaptive cruise control as standard. As with the SE L Edition, it’s available with the 2.0 TDI diesel 150hp with DSG and all-wheel drive, priced at £42,825, while the line-up also includes a 2.0 TSI 190hp with DSG and all-wheel drive for £41,650.
First deliveries start late November.
