RoSPA renames fleet services division as part of major changes

The switch to the RoSPA Fleet Safety name and the launch of a new website spearhead a host of advancements of the organisation’s product offering. This includes a heavy investment in new systems and processes, with telematics to be included as part of some services – RoSPA added that is currently evaluating the most appropriate partners to help them deliver this.

Rick Wood, head of training for RoSPA Fleet Safety, said: “We want to be embracing technology, in particular around vehicle telemetry and effective management of data output to improve road safety, by delivery of relevant driver improvement interventions.

“We won’t be collecting data for data’s sake – we want to work with fleet managers to deliver safety improvements.”

The changes to the division will complement its increasing international work, which has seen it become the sole supplier to a number of multi-national firms, including several large oil organisations.
