Both models are now offered with a three-level trim range comprising the Evolution, Techno and R.S. Line – named to acknowledge onboard technology and styling.

The Evolution replaces the previous Iconic Edition and boosts specification with the addition of a larger 7-inch TFT Colour Instrument Display on the Clio, while the Captur gains 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and automatic air conditioning as standard.

The mid-spec Techno builds on the previous SE Edition, with a focus on technology and styling. Equipment on the Clio includes tinted rear windows, chrome detailing on the window surrounds and door panels, and a shark fin antenna. Inside, the interior is refreshed with grey accents to the dashboard and door panels, as well as dark grey pinstriped seat upholstery. The Techno Captur also gains an enhanced interior along with a shark fin antenna.

The top-spec R.S. Line models gain a new 10-inch TFT colour instrument display.

The Clio 2022MY also gets a new E-Tech 145 hybrid engine, using a new 1.6-litre petrol hybrid engine and delivering 145hp – up 5hp on the outgoing petrol hybrid powerplant – and with CO2 from 96g/km.

Prices start at £18,795 for the Clio Evolution and £22,195 for the Captur Evolution, both with the TCe 90 three-cylinder petrol engine.
