Cap hpi confirmed best-in-class residual values for the Renault Austral E-Tech full hybrid.

Renault Austral E-Tech full hybrid leads class in residual values

In the segment, the SUV hybrid takes the residual value crown, retaining 50.1% of its original retail value after 3 years/60,000 miles.

The class-leading residual values add another string to the bow of the petrol hybrid, building on attributes such as its Google-powered digital experience, advanced powertrain and extensive standard equipment.

In its April 2023 report, cap hpi said: “The new Renault Austral is a huge leap in terms of design and technology compared to the aging Kadjar predecessor. The exterior design has a muscular design due to high bonnet positioning and a wide stance. The interior design is in line with all the latest technologies and overall has a premium look due to excellent materials with good fit and finish throughout. Interior room is up there with the best in class as is the ride and handling.”

This result is the culmination of Renault working closely with cap hpi to ensure that the Austral E-Tech full hybrid entered the UK market with a highly appealing standard specification. Not only did this ensure optimum value for customers, but it was a key part of a strategy to help the brand fulfil its ambitions to conquer the C-segment as outlined in its bold ‘Renaulution’ plan.

Peter Horton, head of fleet, Renault UK, said: “With its unrivalled residual values having a very positive effect on leasing rates, the all new Austral E-Tech full hybrid is even more appealing to fleet buyers. Already offering the safety, usability and supreme connectivity that are so important to business drivers, the confirmed RVs now complete its package. Taking these into account, it means that many companies can transition to a highly-equipped, cutting-edge electrified vehicle in an exceptionally cost-effective way.”
