Raw Charging to run ‘Charged Up’ EV day

Raw Charging is to host its first EV day, giving expert knowledge and insights into the future of EVs.

The family-friendly event is open to all members of the public and will provide expert knowledge and insights into the future of EVs

The event will take place on Saturday 15 October 2022 at Bowcliffe Hall in Wetherby, and will be co-run with leading EV fleet providers, JCT600.

Open to all members of the public, the event will see the firm – a specialist in EV charging solutions and infrastructure for the UK’s net zero future – give an ‘EV Charging simplified’ talk, where guests can ask experts any EV related questions.

Visitors will also have the chance to test drive a variety of electric and hybrid cars courtesy of JCT600 and there will also be over 40 cars on display.

The event will include a competition for the ‘best car design’ and the winner’s design will be printed on an EV which they can hire for a weekend for free. A kids’ corner will include a bouncy castle, face painting and quiz.

Bruce Galliford, CEO, said: “We look forward to hosting Charged Up alongside JCT600 and Bowcliffe Hall. For many people, there are questions around electric vehicles and the charging infrastructure, and we think it is important to host an event to answer these questions. The family-friendly day is a great chance for current and future EV drivers to get to know the technology and celebrate the transition to electric vehicles”

Tickets cost £30 per adult and £15 per child.
