Fast-growing mobility and connectivity firm Radius has appointed Glenn Fishwick to the role of chief information officer.

Glenn Fishwick, chief information officer at Radius

Fishwick moves from his previous position as CIO for Cox Automotive, where he sat on the European operating board for several years. Originally a software developer, he has also previously held senior roles across the telecoms, financial services and technology sectors,  working with both the private and public sector.

Radius, which spans everything from telecoms, insurance and EV charging to rental and leasing solutions, said the appointment supported its work to be at the forefront of innovation as technology and trends progress. The company is also opening a new technology hub in Crewe this autumn.

Lee Everett, Radius COO, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Glenn to the team as CIO, taking responsibility for the IT strategy and development across Radius group. He brings with him a wealth of experience and will be a driving force behind us developing new products and solutions as well as maximising the potential of the facilities in the new technology hub we’re building at our new site in Crewe.”

Founded as a fuel card company by CEO Bill Holmes in 1990, Radius now operates in 18 countries across five continents. Recent developments include its £10m investment into its EV division, further reinforcing its charging proposition for fleets on the back of its acquisition of EV Charging Solutions and EV Back Office.

Glenn Fishwick commented: “The potential Radius holds is boundless and its continued focus on technology offers a fantastic opportunity to expand and lead the way in the industry. I’m joining at an incredibly exciting time and look forward to working with an exceptional team to continue to grow this successful business.”
