PfH focuses on improving efficiency and procurement practice for over 850 social housing providers throughout the UK. The nationwide consortium manages the purchasing and supply of over £2.5 million of goods and services every week, creating savings of almost £50 million each year.

‘At PfH, our priority is helping the social housing sector enhance efficiency and make cost savings,’ said Kayleigh Blackburn, category manager at PfH. ‘Venson has demonstrated its ability to deliver a vehicle hire service, combined with fleet management capabilities that help drive down costs without compromising on quality. This has resulted in Venson entering our nominated suppliers list for the first time and marks an exciting era for both Venson and PfH.

‘Together with our other suppliers, Venson allows us to ensure we continue to provide the very best value to the social housing organisations we work closely with.’

Venson’s experience in managing housing sector fleets for clients such as Watford Community Trust Housing, Ocean Housing and Rochdale Boroughwide Housing played a key role in its successful selection.

Alan McCleave, business development director of Venson Automotive Solutions, commented: ‘This is an exciting win for Venson. Our nomination marks another step in Venson’s support of the social housing sector, where our experience in dealing with its very specific needs enables us to provide an unparalleled fleet offering.’
