Prices revealed for Fiat mild hybrid city cars

Fiat is launching petrol mild hybrid versions of its 500 and Panda city cars, bringing CO2 emissions from 88g/km.

Arriving in UK showrooms from February and March 2020 respectively, the 500 and Panda will be available with a new petrol mild hybrid engine that combines the latest three-cylinder FireFly 1.0-litre engine with a 12-volt Belt-integrated Starter Generator (BSG) electric motor and a lithium-battery, delivering 70hp.

It replaces the previous 69hp 1.2-litre petrol engine while reducing CO2 emissions on the road by up to 30%. The 500 Mild Hybrid has CO2 emissions from 88g/km with the Panda starting at 89g/km (both NEDC Correlated). Official combined fuel economy for the 500 stands at 53.3mpg while the Panda returns 49.6mpg (WLTP).

Prices start from £12,665 on-the-road (OTR) for the 500 Mild Hybrid and the Panda Mild Hybrid starts from £13,855 OTR.
