The first model to launch from car giant Chery’s new brand, the midsize crossover will be targeted at both company car and private drivers and will launch with both fully electric and petrol models.

Omada says it’s “poised to redefine value and performance in the popular C-SUV segment”, providing both competitive pricing and premium features and advanced technology.

Two trim levels will be available: the entry-level ‘Comfort’ will include LED headlights and adaptive lighting, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and wireless charging for two mobile phones as standard.

The premium ‘Noble’ variant will sit above it, priced from £27,000 for the petrol model and adding in 360-degree exterior 3D camera technology and enhanced driver assistance features such as ACC adaptive cruise control, Lane Keeping Assist and Autonomous Emergency Braking. It also gains enhanced design features such as leather steering wheel in a range of colour options, a power sunroof, 18-inch alloys plus a heated steering wheel.

The line-up includes a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, delivering 190hp and 275Nm of torque, with average fuel economy of 31.4mpg WLTP and 170g/km of emissions.

The electric vehicle variant will be available from launch, supporting the brand’s commitment to embracing the future of automotive technology. Pricing and specification details are yet to be announced.
