New sustainable driving module to help fleets cut fuel and costs
E-Training World has introduced a new training module on sustainable driving to help fleets cut fuel, operational costs and emissions.

Jonathan Mosley, sales and marketing director at E-Training World
It’s aimed at fleets of all types – including companies running ICE and electric vehicles – and sets out the positive steps that every driver can take to reduce their impact on the planet and save money.
Driving in an eco-friendly manner can save up to 10% on fuel bills for petrol and diesel vehicles, while efficient driving in EVs maximises range and minimises charging.
Eco driving can also reduce the need for replacing items such as tyres, brake pads, saving on maintenance costs, while driving more safely means less collisions.
Jonathan Mosley, sales and marketing director at E-Training World, said: “Our new training module highlights the value that sustainable driving can deliver, as well as sharing practical tips on what every driver can do to reduce fuel or energy consumption and operational costs.”
He elaborated: “Harsh acceleration and braking increase fuel use and lead to increased wear and tear on the vehicle. Our training shows drivers how to look well ahead and anticipate potential hazards so that they can adjust their driving early. In doing so, they can avoid unnecessary acceleration and braking, which is good for the environment and results in a smoother, safer drive.”
The training also looks at the importance of regular servicing and vehicle maintenance, as well as the impact that the weight of a vehicle can have on fuel consumption or EV range.
Mosley went on: “Our online training module also encourages drivers to think whether they need to drive at all. We often automatically jump in our car or van without questioning it. But if the place you’re going to is only a mile or so away, why not walk instead?”
The new module joins the existing solutions available at E-Training World. The multi-award-winning online driver profiling and e-driver training provider works with some of the largest fleet operators in the UK and also provides branded/white-labelled systems to many of the best-known companies in the fleet sector.
