Dubbed WorkProvider, the new solution is being launched to provide a rival to the epyx 1link product, with Sam Wallace, who heads sales of WorkProvider, saying that it provides “a more comprehensive alternative”.

WorkProvider provides OEM part numbers, part pricing and labour times. It has been designed to offer correct identification of over 30 million vehicles simply by entering the vehicle registration number

The vehicle coding completed by Carweb allows fleets to import the entire fleet list easily, simply by providing the vehicle registration number. The WorkProvider platform allows SMR history to be maintained, and is backwards compatible, allowing historical SMR records from other platforms.

Carweb says it has ensured OEM Service schedules and repair times are accurate, with data sourced from over 50 manufacturers.

It added that it supplies garages, workshops and fast-fit centres with technical data that includes accurate vehicle repair times and costs and including parts pricing, step-by-step fault diagnostic and other information such as technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Sam Wallace added: “We believe we are the only company to give fleet managers control for both elements relating to SMR spend, parts and labour.”
