New challenge promotes sustainable workplace travel
Workplaces in Scotland are being urged to take part in a new challenge to help change the way employees travel, including on business.
The challenge is aimed at getting as many people as possible commuting via walking, cycling, public transport and lift-sharing
Running throughout March by sustainable transport charity Sustrans in partnership with Transport Scotland, the Scottish Workplace Journey Challenge is aimed at getting as many people as possible commuting to work by walking, cycling, public transport and lift-sharing – and also looks at journeys for business travel too.
Anyone who works for an organisation in Scotland can take part – either as an individual or as part of a team – competing for the chance to win prizes.
