Nationwide Fleet Installations closes acquisition of Avian Fleet

Nationwide Fleet Installations has acquired Avian Fleet for an undisclosed sum, reinforcing its commitment to delivering reliable and efficient installation services.

The deal will help fleets of all sizes simplify their telematics and vehicle technology installations through a single installation partner

The acquisition unites two of the industry’s largest fleet installation specialists – and effectively doubles Nationwide’s engineering coverage across the UK. It will also help better meet the engineering needs of fleet managers and technology providers across the country.

Founded in 1987, Avian Fleet has nearly 4o years’ sector experience and continues to work today with emergency services, leading insurers, fleet managers and leasing companies as their installation partner of choice.

The business offers the latest in telematics solutions, tracking technology, vehicle cameras, parking sensors, UBIs, dash cams and more, supported by its inhouse installation and service management system, branded Conexsys.

The acquisition comes as the fleet industry increasingly seeks technological solutions to enhance safety, efficiency and sustainability.

Graham Appleyard, managing director of Nationwide Fleet Installations, commented: “Adding Avian Fleet’s expertise to our portfolio strengthens our capacity to offer hassle-free installations across the UK. Together, we have completed over three million installations in the last 30 years and are looking forward to helping fleets of all sizes simplify their telematics and vehicle technology installations through a single installation partner.”
