Motom remarketing platform signs up Total Motion Fleet Management

Total Motion Fleet Management has signed up to the new Motom platform to complement its vehicle remarketing activities.

Motom says its new platform provides the very best in online B2B remarketing technology that simplifies the trading experience and reduces the total cost of defleeting

The deal comes just weeks after the tech-backed social network for used vehicle wholesalers, dealers and traders launched to the market and adds to the growing list of vendors on the platform.

Motom has big ambitions to drive fundamental change in the wholesale vehicle remarketing sector, backed by its technology-led approach and a specialist team that includes familiar fleet faces such as chief executive officer Julian Humphreys and chief commercial officer Mel Goodliffe.

Its low-cost digital platform promises to reimagine how motor vehicles are wholesaled and speed up the buying and selling process from hours to minutes.

Julian Humphreys said: “Motom is an independent business, which is starting to see its community of users grow and it’s with the support from vendors like Total Motion that will help the platform to be a real success in the digital wholesaling of cars and light commercial vehicles.”

Simon Hill, managing director of Total Motion, added: “We chose to work with Motom as the platform provides a cost-effective solution for the remarketing of vehicles. With its digital capability it helps us find and connect to new buyers for our vehicles and ultimately speed up the remarketing process and reduce the total cost of defleet.”
