‘I'm delighted to present this award to Mercedes, who have consistently demonstrated extremely high levels of aftersales support to fleet drivers,’ said Rick Yarrow, managing director of Experteye. ‘All results are based on independent feedback we receive from company car drivers, making Mercedes deserved winners of the best fleet dealer network for aftersales for 2014.’

On collecting the award, Sally Dennis, national fleet sales manager – strategic accounts, Mercedes-Benz UK, commented: ‘This award is the first of its kind to be based on hard, quantitative data and, crucially, the views of our customers.

‘On behalf of my colleagues in the fleet team and throughout the UK Retailer network we're honoured to be recognised for the service we provide. We work hard to meet – and hopefully go beyond – the expectations of our customers and this Award is just the first step in delivering an efficient and effective service.’

The firm said its dedication to customer care is evidence by its MyService easy-to-use online tool, which enables car drivers to book an A or B service, MOT, diagnosis and fixed-price repairs. There are service options for all budgets – a simple “drop and go: option; Lounge, a “while you wait” option; Drive, providing customers with a courtesy car; and Collect, providing a collection and delivery service to the customers location.
