Mazda unveils Koeru crossover SUV concept

The concept brings in elements of the carmaker’s existing CX-3 and CX-5 models but with more athletic, coupe-like styling based on the Kodo – Soul of Motion design theme.

Mazda said the model “was conceived to extend a new kind of value in the fast-growing and hard-fought SUV arena”.

The carmaker also said the model was designed for “outstanding aerodynamics” and “high-speed stability”, while the latest developments of Mazda’s Skyactiv Technology include efficient driver-orientated powertrains and suspension “as well as an ingeniously rigid body and chassis that enhance handling as well as safety”.
