Manheim Colchester hosts 1,000-car sale for BMW
The sale will offer a wide range of ex-fleet BMW and MINI models from BMW Group across Manheim Colchester's four auction lanes, with vehicles also available for remote buyers via Manheim’s online bidding platform, Simulcast.
Manheim said that its four-lane auction centre in Colchester is the only remarketing facility in the country capable of hosting a vehicle sale of this size.
The first 1,000-vehicle sale took place in 2012 and at last year’s event, Manheim achieved a 100% conversion rate, selling every single car for a total combined value of around £14.7m.
Tim Hudson, managing director of Manheim Remarketing, said: “The annual 1,000-car BMW sale is a star event in our auctions programme, attracting a huge number of buyers – both in lane and online – all eager to get hold of the very best BMW and MINI stock. Last year’s sale delivered an incredible 100% conversion rate, so that is our target for this year.”
