Lexus UX crossover to bring fight to X1 and Q3
Lexus has teased an image of its forthcoming UX compact crossover, which will provide a rival to models including the BMW X1, Audi Q3 and Volvo XC40.
The Lexus UX is likely to echo the styling seen on the concept version.
Making its debut at next month’s Geneva Motor Show, the production version follows the unveiling of the futuristic UX Concept at the 2016 Paris Motor Show and looks likely to bring toned-down styling as well as an expected range of hybrid and petrol/diesel engines.
The new model will compete in the UK’s fastest-growing car segment and will join the carmaker’s best-selling CT hatchback and NX crossover models, which were updated late last year.
Geneva will also see the European premiere of the seven-seater RX L – which adds on the RX with an extra 110mm in length and a third row of seats – and the LF-1 Limitless concept.
