There are just four live events left to run – in Peterborough, London, Wales and Birmingham – plus a virtual event. And anyone wishing to attend is being advised to sign up as soon as possible to ensure their place and keep their compliance knowledge up to date.

More than 1,700 delegates have already attended or booked to attend this year’s 10-strong series of conferences, which is sponsored by Brigade Electronics, and places are selling fast, with the Peterborough event already closed for new bookings.

The events are being headlined by local Traffic Commissioners while also boasting a range of senior industry figures and policy makers. The conferences also feature a Transport Manager calendar, a compliance update, and sessions on vehicle in-service standards, managing safety technology, driving down the cost of your fleet insurance, technology and the balance of risk, and preparing your fleet for electrification. There is also an interview with DVSA’s CEO Loveday Ryder.

The Metropolitan Police Commercial Vehicle Unit will speak about the multi-award-winning Transport Professionals Talk, providing an overview of the policing response to incidents involving commercial vehicles. New to the programme this year, this session is proving highly popular with delegates.

Kate Jennings, Logistics UK’s director of policy, said: “We’re delighted that so many people see the benefit of coming to our Transport Manager conferences, to make sure they’re up to date with the latest legislation changes and compliance information – something that’s vital for anyone who’s responsible for a vehicle fleet or operates vehicles as part of their job. Although places are in high demand this year, there’s still space available at some of the remaining venues, but I’d advise anyone wishing to come along to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”

The remaining dates in the series are:

7 November – Peterborough (fully booked)

10 November – Virtual Transport Manager

14 November – London

23 November – Cardiff

30 November – Birmingham
